Alternate Color Designs for horizons
To experiment with colors for this blanket, see the the Supplemental Content (access code at end of book) to download a coloring page to experiment with your own color ideas.
This blanket is beautiful and subtle worked in stippled yarns, but can also be worked in solid colors. Another option (not illustrated) is to use striping in some of all of the diamonds much in the way that mitered square blankets are striped. Here are some alternate colorway ideas.

The color-shift and speckled yarns bring new textures to your home décor in this fresh take on the traditional striped blanket.
Stippled yarns create beautiful blankets
This blanket features stippled yarns, hand-dyed from the studio of Rhichard Devrieze. These yarns blend together in surprisingly beautiful ways in this design which is knit modularly.

INSPIRATION
This blanket is inspired by the verdant rolling hills and dales of some parts of our world, such as the Palouse region of the USA and the Yorkshire Dales, UK. The dark and light colors are the play of light on the hills and the stippled yarn mimics a landscape of intermingled natural colors.
