This easy to knit blanket in a myriad of beautiful colors is worked in blocks that are sewn together.

Inspiration
The idea for this blanket came from memories of childhood and the wonder that kaleidoscopes inspired in me. I didn’t have a fancy one like the one below, but they were often given as prizes at carnivals and parties.

This design would make an excellent scrap blanket made from yarn leftovers. To plan, print out the coloring page and use colored pencils to fill in the shapes and plan your color arrangements.
